Overseas Missions

Missions Ministry Team Vision:

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
      because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
   to release the oppressed,
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."
Luke 4:18-19

Mission Statement

To equip, train, and send Lovers of God to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ from “Jerusalem” (Domestic) “… to the ends of the earth” (International) through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Vision

One of Jubilee Church’s founding visions was that there was a need for an English-speaking church in Korea focused on missions.  This vision came from the idea that Korea is strategic “hub” nation for missions to the world.

Hub -

  • Strategic Location – South Korea is a strategic location for missions into Asia.  Japan, China, and, North Korea, are within a few hours flight.
  • Resources and Manpower – Within 50 years, South Korea has become one of the largest economies in the world and with many English-speaking expatriates from around the world.
  • Christian Nation – Within the 10/40 Window, South Korea is the only country that has been fully “reached” by the gospel.

“…to the Ends of the Earth.”
We also heed Jesus’ command to “make disciples of all nations” and, so we are committed to these overseas ministries:

Harbin, China
Twice a year (summer and winter) we send a team of short-term missionaries to Harbin, China to share the love of Christ during an English Camp for Middle School and High School students.
