Prayer Ministry

An army of Lovers of the Lord, Watchmen on the Walls
and Intercessors Standing in the Gap

"requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone..."
(1 Tim 2:1-2)

Father God is looking for faithful servants who are so lovesick for Him that are prepared to serve before an audience of only One. Father God is looking for lovers of Him who are in touch with His heart and who are willing to release His power from Heaven through praise and prayer. We are all called to pray, to be the "watchmen" on the walls, guarding against and exhausting the enemies attack. God is seeking a generation after His own heart, watchmen who build up the weak areas in the walls of the church, protecting His beloved ones. For this purpose the Prayer Ministry at Jubilee Church is raising up a generation of lovesick prayer warriors for the Lord.

"I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none." Ezekiel 22.30

In the church we can get too focused on what we should do, what we could do and what we will do. We tend to forget that Jesus said, "…without me you can do nothing." (John 15:5). Without the power of prayer we can do many things, but the Kingdom cannot be extended and nothing spiritual can be accomplished. Nothing of eternal value comes without prayer.

Through prayer we guard against and bring down the strongholds and attacks of the enemy. No church can seek to stand against the enemy, remain united and become fruitful without the protecting and purging power of the Lord that is released through prayer.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Ephesians 6:12.

The Jubilee Church Prayer Ministry meets every Sunday from 8.30am to 9.50am before the 10 AM service to intercede for Jubilee Church and the body of Christ worldwide. We begin by following the example of King David, by worshipping our awesome God, without Whom our prayers would be rendered powerless. Each Sunday we pray for each ministry within the church by name, the congregation, newcomers and those who don't yet know Jesus in a personal way. We also often pray for other local churches and the city of Seoul.

Twice a month we meet for fellowship and prayer time on Saturday evenings. We have an awesome time of worship and praying for each other. It’s a time of exhortation, edifying, strengthening and receiving prophetic word from the Lord.

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him." (1 John 5:14-15).
